Sister and brother duo Helen and Ian Wade opened up shop together in 2009, called "Fresh," where they carried a number of clothing brands for both men and women. Halfway through 2014 they moved across the street (now directly across from The Tower theater) and changed the name of the store.

Ian has since moved out of state, so Helen remains the primary owner with Brett Devereaux as the manager, both of whom have been working to bring more great brands to Salt Lake City.

One of these brands is Aēsop, an Australian-based skin and hair care company whose products are only the very finest quality. Whether plantbased or created in their labs, they use "only those [ingredients] with a proven record of safety and efficacy."

As Brett, manager of The Stockist tells us, "Aēsop is a really exciting new addition to the shop in my opinion...Aēsop puts so much emphasis on lifestyle, design, functionality and building a culture around their brand which has helped them become a massive success with a large, cult-like following. We worked hard to bring them to SLC and are very proud to be considered a representative of the culture they've built."

Many of the menswear brands currently carried by The Stockist can't be found anywhere else in the city yet. Some of the most prominent of these include Norse Projects, Rogue Territory, Red Wing, Levi's Made & Crafted, Penfield, Todd Snyder x Champion, The Hill-Side, Pendleton, and Filson.

Equal parts clothing company and design studio, Norse Projects incorporates aspects of art and design into wearable pieces. And Redwing, an American company specializing in sturdy workwear, has been around for over 100 years.

With an already wide variety of menswear, womenswear brands the shop has recently aquired are some of the best: Just Female, Won Hundred, Current Elliot, Levi's Made & Crafted, H by Hudson shoes, Daniel Wellington Watches (unisex) and Joes Jeans. Their selection is growing, too.

Won Hundred is an 11-year-old Danish company that combines classics with a risk-taking edge, Daniel Wellington's wristwatches are sleek and can be easily worn by men and women.
