It's the pants day to shine. It's all about the bottoms this holiday season and there are some exciting new options on the shelves. Here are a few of my favorites and how to best put them together.
AG velvet trousers*, Frame trousers, Alice & Olivia feather top, Acne Studios sweater
There is nothing that I love more than a chic pant that is comfortable and versatile. This season’s boyfriend trouser is right up my alley. They fit like a boyfriend jean (think comfy and a little slouch) but are available in holiday fabrics such as coated denim and velvet. You can dress them up with a blouse and either a low, healed bootie, a wedge, or a pretty pump. Or throw them on with a chunky sweater and a moto-bootie for an easy day-to-night look.
Slim City Pant
Sanctuary pants*, Joie blouse*, Cooper and Ella blouse*
A tailored black pant is one of the more beautiful and versatile pieces to own in your closet. I am loving the ankle length as they look darling with a bootie or a pump. I would opt for this pant and a pretty blouse for any evening function where the dress-code pushes you towards conservative yet styled. Think ‘new boss and his wife invite you to dinner’ kind of night.
David Lerner legging*, Cooper and Ella blouse*, BB Dakota sweater
Coated leggings are the little sister to coated denim, although arguably even more comfortable. The slight shimmer on the legs is just enough to keep them interesting. Pair them with a chunky turtleneck sweater and a healed bootie for a holiday party at your friends home, or rock a longer blouse and a pretty pump for a night out on the town.
Wide Leg Pants
Bishop & Young pant*, Rolla top, Finders Keepers sweater'
A high-waisted wide leg pant is the ticket to looking effortlessly chic. Pair it with a cropped top, or sweater and a high heal (which is a must with wide leg pants) and you will look current and comfortable at the same time.
