Is it possible for bacon to be guilt-free? Thanks to a fundraiser by Bambara, the answer is yes.
Through November, Bambara at Hotel Monaco will donate $1 to the Utah AIDS Foundation for every bacon dish ordered. The more bacon ordered, the more support the foundation receives.
Bambara is an American bistro in dowtown SLC that uses only the freshest organic and sustainable ingredients. The menu, which changes with the seasons, currently includes duck liver crostini, Snake River Farms pork shank and berry-glazed South Carolina quail, among other delicacies.
Bambara has chosen to support the Utah AIDS Foundation because of the valuable work it does, including its transportation-assistance programs, holiday meal baskets, outreach at bars and clubs and delivery of hot meals to sick clients.
So in summary, to eat bacon is to help out a good cause. Has contributing to charity ever been so delicious?
