Salt Lake Magazine and the Utah Opera are teaming up once again for “Libretti and Libations.”

Inspired by the opera's upcoming show, Mozart's “Marriage of Figaro,” Utah's top mixologists have created a multitude of unique drinks.

Taking the idea of a “bleeding heart” and running with it, Bambara created the Rossa Sangue. Translating to “red blood,” the Rossa Sangue is a combination of High West Whiskey, Aperol, Cherry Juice and Muddled Macerated Cherries.

So intrigued by the performance, Bistro 222 created three different cocktails, each one mixed with fruity flavors invoking both the show and the springtime spirit.

Inspired by the show's setting, Spain, East Liberty Tap House created Amor del Conde, meaning “the count's love.” This drink uses Vida Tequila Blanco, fresh lime juice, Pok Pok Som Grapefruit Soda, and a little bit of Bittermen's Hopped Grapefruit.
